The below are 5 sure-fire strategies which will get you going and inspired.
What’s the plan? - Write down your goals
Do you want to lose weight, get
stronger, develop muscle tone, get fitter, reduce stress, feel and sleep
better, look great with (and without) clothes?
What will you put in? – Results require action
How much time are you willing to dedicate
towards achieving your goals? Time is important, but so are the quality and the
intensity of your efforts. If you want to lose weight you should train at a
pace you feel slightly uncomfortable at for 60 minutes per day. Is bulking up
your goal? Lift weights which are challenging but pay attention not to injure yourself. They key is to get out of your comfort zone and stick to the plan
when the going gets tough.

Do I have to train everyday?
It depends. The answer is
somewhere between yes and no. If you are
training hard, you definitely need a day or two off per week. If your efforts are moderate, a day off could
mean a gentle walk along a promenade ending off with relaxing stretches and
balancing exercises at the end.
What if I have a busy day at work and don’t have time and energy to
exercise after?
You are in control, nobody else.
If you allow your goals to be sabotaged, you will quickly allow every excuse to
derail your previous efforts. Simply say
to yourself these next few words: “I want to exercise my body and feel great” instead
of “I do not want to exercise”.
If you choose “I do” you will
find nothing will get in your way. Take an hour off work, exercise before work
or go out for a brisk walk in your lunch break. Take the stairs wherever you
can. Park the car further away or use a bicycle or bus to go to work. The possibilities
are limitless. “I want to exercise my body and feel great”
